01/10/2007 | N8CPA I was a daylight participant. Because my own "digital" competence is best suited to Morse, I am a slow typist. So I don't do a lot of keyboard ragchews. But I like contests, and I like hearing the digital modes on air. So I more waded than jumped into the fray.

I used a broken laptop for a terminal, a multimode TNC, and an IC-735, feeding a BB7V antenna. The computer was strictly for on-air. I hand logged the QSO information for later transcription. Note to self: Find the Cabrillo template before setting up the log page.
