01/10/2007 | KD5JHE This was my first real serious attempt at a contest. I just started doing RTTY in 2006 and can say this is a great mode. It is a lot of fun and I thought the band conditions were good. There was no shortage of stations to work. 80, 40, and 20 meters were the most productive, but 15 meters was open some and I got quite a few contacts on that band. I picked up a few more states towards my first WAS on Lotw and got the WY I needed for my first WAS ever. Great contest.
