01/12/2007 | KC8SQC QRP Baby! Had a great time in my first RU, worked 220 stations and 54 mults, my best contest showing yet! I operated approx 21.5 hours of the contest with down time during the late evening.

I never thought that five watts could have such success with so many high power stations. My success is only credited to the fantastic ops who took the extra time to work the weak ones! A special thanks to all those who had to suffer multiple exchanges to get me in the log.

20 meters was great, and 40 was on fire during the whole contest. I even worked some stations on 15, but didn't hear anyone on 10 all weekend.

I look forward to next year, and hopefully a higher score! -- KC8SQC
