Great Central California weather made this a nice contest.
I was not planning on operating this year, but I ended up getting some free time on Sunday morning. Quickly, I gathered my 2 meter equpiment and headed out to the Satellite Amateur Radio Club site on Vandenberg AFB. After setting up all of my gear, I noticed I had forgot to pack the Kenwood TS-790A microphone. A quick search of the clubhouse turned up a Kenwood mic.
I was able to contest for a little over two hours and gathered 26 QSOs and 12 grids on 2 meters. It appears that I was the only station operating in CM94 this January.
