01/22/2007 | WA1RKS Kind of a dismal event for me this time. Not too many big guns on, and I noticed a distinct lack of Rovers. I like to see what I can work on 432,and the big guns,& rovers afford me those opportunities.
But I always have fun,and its nice to run into Old,old,old,friends sometimes, (we both find out we're still alive!) look forward to june, but will have many new improvements for that one,better Antennas all round, so should be interesting with or with out the "Magic E's" ! so look for me then, until then USE the bands! never hear ragchewers on 6m like I used to,even 2m is dead. and forget finding a CQ on 432!!! more rigs with all those bands today than ever,and no one using them!!! Turn those knobs you turkeys!.
