01/29/2007 | K3TUF I had a great time again in the January Contest. My score was just below last years, but that likely reflects the things that are going on my my life, it is very busy now. I took a respectful break for sleep and operated for 27 hours.
The time was busy always and that makes for fun when you don't have to wait long for the next contact.
Rover activity was reasonable, but lower than normal which also affects the score.
Among the projects at my station, the new 180 foot tower for microwave is standing tall, but with nothing on it at this time. The spring will bring .903-24GHZ to a point above the trees finally.
I look forward to my first June Contest ever from my home QTH.
