02/20/2007 | KC0P/R It is fun being a Rover because I can drive to a hilltop with better propagation than I have at home. Being at the grid square corner puts me 90 miles away from the Minneapolis/St.Paul population center and difficult to break thru the chatter on 144.200 to pull them away for contacts. Best DX on 2 meters was EN43aw to KB0CIM in EN37ef at 384km or 239 miles. What a thrill. Thanks for all the fun. Mel KC0P/R -- KC0P
