02/19/2007 | WB6IYM Another year come and gone, and I have still not improved upon my antenna situation; ahhhh procrastination!! Perhaps this summer will find me the pround new owner of a Big IR vertical with 80-meter base loading coil...Then we will see my 2008 score improve over that of recent years...

As for this test -- lots of fun and contacts, but poor propagation here on the Left Coast for the little pistols...Almost NO European or African contacts whatsoever!! If it were not for 40 meter DX and Japanese contacts, I probably would have pulled the plug with little or not results at all...

At any rate, hope everyone had as good a time as I, despite the non-cooperating sun spots...Looking forward to next years test already..Until then, Cheers to all my fellow DXers and contesters.... -- WB6IYM
