I had the opportunity to improve my mobile CW skills while driving and sitting in my driveway. My rig is a Kenwood TS480SAT (100 watts with built in tuner), mini-straight key, laptop with Get CW software, a BuddiStick portable vertical mounted on my trunk mount Diamond K400 plus an assortment of Hamsticks. 139 QSOs, 35 countries, Worked All Continents including 5 continents on 80 and 40 meters. I also added 33 of stealth antenna wire to my BuddiStick to improve my low band signal. I used two Scooby Doo balloons from Wal-mart to elevate the wire. I only operated this way at night and in my drive way to keep from embarrassing the ham radio communitysee photo below of my antenna being tested the night before the contest. From sitting in my drive way at 3 AM to driving in traffic on the interstate at 80 mph, this was a memorable DX CW contest. See you in the next contest, 73 Ned N4LS/M -- N4LS
