02/25/2007 | HB9LCW Hi to everybody, this year I have think to give some W/VE stations during the contest a chance to work HB9 on the low bands. so I have decided to build a new linear loaded vertical antenna for 40M & 80M.
Due to other obligations I was just able to work during the night from Saturday to Sunday. It was a great feeling to hear so many loud signals from W/VE on 40m and 80M band. I have participated in the contest in the category SOP low power (100 Watts). with my new vertical I was able to work many W/VE stations.
During the nighttime the presence of US and Canadians was good.
It was too much fun.
