03/05/2007 | W4AMP Started out slow but Friday night was a wild ride on 75! Worked over 40 countries on 75 including Bermuda, Hawaii, and Morocco. Also worked 6Y1V on six bands, got them with my 75 meter dipole as a marconi on 160. It was 3AM and they were hysterical by the time they dug me out, but I got it in the log! Got ZL3WW on 40, heard JA's but could not make it back. Worked most Caribbean stations on four bands. KP4KE was 20 over on 75 running 5 watts, and 25 over on twenty meters. Used a full wave twenty meter loop for most 20-15-10 qso's. If not heard an Antron 99 or a 75 meter inverted-v was next. 160-75-40 was on the 75 meter inverted V. 137 q's and 41 thousand points. All with a 100 watts, rig Yaesu FT897. Good score for sunspot minimum, I am sure some 160-75-40 meter records were broken. See you next year!
