2007 ARRL International DX Contest (Phone)

I took a brief vacation in the Dominican Republic right before the International Phone DX Contest weekend, and when I got back, I forgot to get on the air for my beloved annual contest.
By the time I remembered it, on Sunday, my antenna would not take any power, the SWR was astronomical, no matter what configuration I tried with with my antenna tuner.
I re-tied the dipole end insulators cause it looked they were touching the metal support rods, and then, while there was minor improvement, it wasn't too much better.
Still, i did have fun, spending one hour on the air working 9 countries for a whopping: 243 points!
Oh well, better luck next year.
