Great weekend of radio operating. I was restricted to using 20, 15 and 10m and with the US not coming in till lunchtime here and usually disappearing around dusk, there wasn't much time to work W/VE. Family commitments also restricted my available time.
However 20m didn't disappoint and I worked 86 stations or so in quick succession.
The main problem was that the big Euro stations running a K and coming in on the back of my beam were swamping any weaker US stations so after a while I realized that I had worked everyone I could hear and switched to 15m and rapidly worked the balance of the 100 minimum Q's that I had set myself as a target. 10m was as dead as a dodo for me!
In the end I worked 110 for about 12,000 points which, whilst not setting the world alight, was just fine by me! Thoroughly enjoyed myself and thanks to all those stations I worked! See you next time.
