03/07/2007 | N4LS/M I enjoyed this years contest as a mobile station from my Toyota FJ Cruiser which can be tough on the low bands. For both the Phone and CW contests, I WAC on 40 meters and 5 continents on 80 meters which is not easy with a mobile antenna. Mostly I used hamsticks for 20-10m and for 40 and 80, I used a modified Buddistick with a 17 piece of wire connected to a balloon. Rig used was the Kenwood TS480SAT (100w).
