06/11/2007 | WA4UJY I ahve a great location from the parking lot on Brasstown Bald GA at about 4500 feet(EM84). I ran a FT100 into a 5 element 6M beam and 5 element 2M beam on a 20 foot mast. Band conditions we not the greatest so I decided to operate for fun instead of trying to "Contest" I had alot of people walk up and ask me about what I was doing and I got to introduce people to Ham Radio. That was more fun than the contest itself.

I did have the chance to try my trailer hitch mast system and work out some kinks for future contest. I cant wait for September.
