06/15/2007 | KB0HH We had a good time!! Many thanks to all the ops who dug us out of the noise and to the many rovers taking time to look us up. A thunderstorm intereupted us for about an hour Saturday evening. This was our first contest to make 902 MHz and 2304 MHz contacts. The higher bands were soft for most of the contest period but 6 meters was open a good length of time. The wx was hot and muggy.

Tad, KC5DPT went fishing on the lake out back for our Sunday morning breakfast! Fishing was about as good as contesting!
