06/15/2007 | W4FDU 432 opened up to the NE from Tennessee very nicely Sunday morning. I was able to work my best-ever DX on 432 cw/ssb, working W3SO in FN00 from EM65 (30 Mi south of Nashville; About a 560 Mile path). Glad they could pull me out of the noise, I was only using 50W out to a 5 el yagi up in the attic. Heard a beautiful S9 signal from AA4ZZ (EM96) on 432 ssb from the NC mountains, that was an easy contact. Hope everyone had fun across all the bands. -- W4FDU
