2007 ARRL Field Day

I operated the 2007 GOTA station for our club , The BARSTOW AMATEUR RADIO CLUB , Barstow , Ca.
Our results were fairly good for our stations and we had many visitors and good press coverage.
I and others in the club made comments that there seemed to be a lot more 1 x 1 , 2 x 2 calls being used this year than in years past.
We wonder if this was noticed by other groups.
I have been licensed since January of 1990 I have participated in the field day operations and then not much more during the year do to my limits of the Tech ( + ) privledges and band conditions .
On June 9 TH. I finally upgraded to GENERAL and had a good time at FIELD DAY , managing to work many stations on 6 , 15 , 20 , 40 meters.
I fully intend on getting much more active on the new privledges. -- KC6IIH
