06/26/2007 | K8DV For Field Day 2007 a few of us got together and decided we wanted to step back in time a little. So with that thought we decided that we would fire up some of our old tube gear and go back to the Field Days of our ham radio childhood.

AA8HH and K8CR arrived just before start at K8DV's shack and ready to operate. We operated about 7 hours total after taking time out for lunch dinner a visit to the club's Field Day site.

Had a total of 247 QSOs.

We used two Drake stations a TR-4c on SSB and B-Line on CW, we had a blast and have already started talking about doing another contest or something with the old gear.
