06/27/2007 | K5WXI We had an awesome Field Day.
San Juan County Emergency Management sponsored this event, and we used Field Day as a training exercise for RACES members. Several new hams were in the "Hot Seat" hammering out both voice and digital contacts, and their excitement was contagious.

Many fellow hams stopped by to visit, and to check out the equipment.
Visitors, club members, and their families gathered for dinner on Saturday evening, catered and served by our local American Red Cross Chapter.

Some of the members that helped setup and operate were: KB5ITS, KA5JNJ, KD5DGN, WB0IZO, KE5LZK, KD5SZW, N5GOL,W5OXK, KE5ILI, KE5MDS, KE5LZJ, KE5ILH, KA5RZI, KC5PIL, K0MPD, K6QQT and N5HV.
