06/27/2007 | N8CMZ I operated a FT-817 at 5 watts QRP on battery power on 6 meters Saturday afternoon to a rotatable dipole at 25 feet. The magic band failed to open so I only was able to contact Ohio stations during the test. It was fun as always...........Bob -- N8CMZ
