2007 ARRL Field Day
We began setting up our pneumatic masts Friday afternoon and finished most of the set-up early Friday evening. We enjoyed relaxing a little bit Saturday morning and when 2pm came around, we were ready!
We operated 2-Alpha with a SSB station, CW station, 6 meter station, and a GOTA station. Our sideband station made around 1,014 contacts, the CW station made 304, the 6 meter made 15, and the GOTA station made 100.
Our Field Day operation was in memory of Mr. Dana Laurie, WA8M, who passed away early this spring. He was a true champ at the CW station.
If you are in the area, visit www.ohkyin.org for info on our club and activities.
I guess it's time to start planning for next year!
