01/18/2008 | WN9U Straight Key Night 2008 was fantastic. I QSOd the following stations: KQ5U, W5YO, NQ4Q, N0QM, K2A/0,KA9OPL, W1TPB, WD8IHL, K5KW, K2HYD, and K7ZYV. Everyone had a fantastic fist and all made some fine CW music! My setup this year was a Heathkit HW-16 (crystal controlled @ 25-50 watts), an 80 meter triangular loop fed with 450 ohm ladder line to a Johnson Matchbox and my straight key was a vintage British Postal Key made by Siemens-Elliott Brothers. Keep on pounding that brass my CW friends!
