03/03/2008 | VE3CUI Well, I'm afraid that "Top Band" conditions here weren't what one might label as being too-too "red hot" this year --- at least not for me, anyway...!

Still, the event was a good excuse --- as always --- to get on 1.8-MHz, & to exchange pleasantries & hellos with perennial 160-meter stalwarts NP4A, VP9/W6PH, CM6RCR, KV4FZ, to name but a few.

My thanks to all who worked me! It was very nice, indeed, to hear the actual VOICES of familiar stations, in as much as I spend the lion's share of my on-the-air time on CW.
