03/03/2008 | NN4F Part time effort of 22 hours, Some of the worst band conditions I've ever had since I started contesting back in 2002. Running SOAB(A) LP using a FT1000MkV into a 160m dipole at 65ft, best DX was 9K2K and the KH stations, not as many of the big gun EU stations heard this time and 15 didn't open much to EU, nice small sporadic openings on 10m to the Caribean/SA. Highlight for me was working G3LPN on 160.

No matter how hard I tried, just could not get a run started.. so completed the whole contest as S&P...amazingly for my small station, got a few unsolicted "Big Signal" reports...guess the bands really were screwed up...
