Had a great time this year even though, like many, lost some operating time due to other circumstances. 6 meters was amazing, 2 meters was good, and 70cm did good as well. I operated using our club's callsign. I was on the air with 6m, 2m, 1.25m, and 70cm, though 222 was only with a 2watt FM handheld. I went up to our club's repeater site (@2000' amsl) but this past winter brought our VHF tower down. We got a new tower flying, but didn't get a chance to mount the antennas so I used a tripod to mount the antennas. The contest gave me a chance to try out a new 432 beam that I homebrewed and it really surprised me in performance. It was only 15 feet off the ground. Hopefully for the September contest, we'll get the antennas on the tower and I'll have more free time to spend in the contest. Did alright though considering, made 106 Qs. Can't wait for September's contest. 73 and see you all then.
