06/30/2008 | N5BB Field Day on the last weekend in June seems to be an artifact of The League's geographical location and history. Unfortunately, the weekend is often miserably hot for other parts of the country. Along with the heat of a southern summer comes the need to dress appropriately. Black is definitely out as a color choice. That said, the 2008 field day shirt in black was hardly seen in these parts. The logo was nice but a choice of background colors would have been a wise marketing decision.

Aside from a typically hot field day, fun was had by all and we are now nursing our sunburn and overworked bodies as we reflect on this past weekend. The overall sentiment seems to be that we will never do this again.... at least for 365 days!
