07/04/2008 | K8ESQ This year was another great year of fun and camaraderie at our Northern Michigan Field Day location. We added a RTTY station for the first time this year and found plenty of activity. The band conditions were good this year with openings on both 6 and 10 meters, so we put our new Technician K8QBR / Cook, to work as the GOTA operator.
Threatening thunder storms and very cool nighttime temperatures did not detour the operation.
We all left looking forward to next year.
