07/01/2008 | WR4MG This year the two clubs from Warner Robins, GA combined efforts for Field Day. The MGRA/CGARC combined effort landed us 1038 contacts. The thunderstorms were a problem this year and forced us off the air several times. The bands were in fair shape, although there were times that the things were quiet on six and 10 meters. We had a great supper as usual and we saw many folks that we had not seen in years. All in all in way an excellent cooperative effort and we hope that the spirit will spill over to other events in the future. -- AE4XO
