07/06/2008 | N8XMS With a family wedding on the other side of the state on Saturday and additional obligations on Sunday, I only had about 1 hour and 15 minutes available for FD, so I simply made a few contacts on Sunday morning from my home station (QRP CW). I had 22 QSOs on 15 meters which raises the question of why that band is so "dead" every other day?!?! (The wedding was outdoors in a park and I do admit to sitting there during the ceremony and thinking about how I could have used the trees to string up an antenna for a FD operation!
