This Field Day for the West Georgia Amateur Radio Society was certainly exciting. On top of setting up in a public area at the south end of town, we were blessed with three thunderstorms loaded with rain, lightning, and wind. Keeping the equipment dry was certainly a challenge. After about 4 hours into the start of Field Day, we actually got to operate. We had Firefighters and Police Officers stop by the Public Information table. We had fun with having some young adults operate and get some contacts for the club. This Field Day was certainly an adventure in Ham Radio. -- N4FWD
