07/09/2008 | N0NAF Day 1 was extremely windy in West Central Iowa making erecting antennas a major task. Then the storms around our area made copy difficult the static crashes on 80 and 40 meters were bad.
Sunday brought sun and better band conditions then contacts came easier. Ten meters CW was decent with good signals. Six meters only produced one contact from our KU4AB Squarelo at 25 ft. supported by a trailer hitch mount on my SUV. -- WA0GUD
