07/10/2008 | KE4ZIP Second annual Sun City Center Amateur Radio club Field Day event.
Thirty-eight participants, 3 stations + GOTA, 183 QSOs!

The KE4ZIP group had a blast.. even in the 91 degree heat!

As a special test this year, we powered everything off inverters
attached to golf cart batteries ... simulating what we would do in
an actual emergency. After all, there are over 10,000 golf carts
in this retirement community -- an unlimited source of power!

The food this year was simple-- we ordered huge Subway sandwiches.
