For the 4th year running the Historical Electronics Museum ARC improved our qso count in field day, finishing up this year with 1208, operating class 3A with an additional 50MHz and a Satellite station. Our educational bonus was achieved by assisting an Eagle Scout to earn his radio merit badge, and his first QSO was on our GOTA station. The mandatory Saturday evening thunderstorm kept us off the air for about 90 minutes. Better luck next year!
Thanks to Gary Mauler, WB3CGE, for the use of his property in Jessup, MD and unflagging support, and Ed Smith, N3XVE, for the excellent food! Thanks also to all those who stopped by to say hi or just to help setup and tear down.
See you next year! -- N3GOO
