07/18/2008 | AJ0W This was the first FD for our new club, the Ste Genevieve DX & Contest Club. We were set up at the Pere Marquette Park in Ste. Genevieve, MO and ran class 1B using solar panels & batteries to power our 5 watt QRP Station, a Yaseu FT-817 and 90 ft. doublet antenna at 30 ft. While not making too many contact we were successful using CW & SSB. Many thanks to those who heard and worked our weak signal.
