07/28/2008 | NW4T K4SAC, AA4RL, KY4COE and K4RMW(ex-KJ4EVH) operated FD 2008 for the KY Indiana DX Association. We operated in memory of our fallen friend, NW4T who fell to his death working on his antennas for SS. This was the first FD for K4EMW and she worked SSB and had a great time. She is ready to hit the mic again next year! AA4RL is the antenna master and he always modifies and experiments with our antennas to squeeze every last dB out of them. If anyone thinks CW is dead, they ought to listen to the low ends of the bands during FD! The new demo rules gave is a chance to put on a demonstration for neighbors and onlookers and site visits by our County Commissioner and our Assistant EMS director gave them the chance to see us in action! We are ready for next year, being it on FD 2009!
