08/01/2008 | W7TA Our location this year was just outside the parking area of our county REOC. That's Washoe County, Nevada. We are SNARS, Sierra Nevada Amateur Radio Society! A great time was had by all...but the fun really started when I drove up pulling my flat-bed trailer early Saturday morning. Here's the picture of my efforts...YES, a small tower mounted on my little trailer...with a 4 element, 3 bander we hoisted up after assembly at the site! We hit the east coast with no problem using my Kenwood TS-520 and a D-104 Lollipop! Oh...the hamburgers were great...! -- N2RDO
