07/13/2008 | W4SJV First contest ever entered (not counting Field Day), despite having thunderstorms in the area for nearly 3/4 of the time. Even though I didn't have many QSO's, thanks to all the operators I talked to for not talking down and the several encouragements I received. Looking forward to more contests and definitely doing this one again next year! Hopefully the bands and weather will all cooperate! -- W4SJV
