07/14/2008 | K2MA With a station running just 100 watts, and inverted V only 20 foot high, and low sun spots; any contest can be a challenge---but fun!! I only participated in the IARU HF Contest for a couple hours here and there and operated only 20 meters Phone. QRN was a problem sometimes but fortunately weather held out (No T-Storms!) Didnt work as much DX as last year, but I was surprised that band conditions held after 8pm to when I went QRT at 10pm local time. Looking forward to the next HF DX contest!! 73 de Bob -- K2MA
