07/17/2008 | K6RJ I only worked a little more than half the contest due to other demands and being just plain tired from the work week. I still had a lot of fun though. Got a late start at 1500 UTC (8 am local) Saturday and couldn't keep my eyes open past 0800 UTC (1 am local) Sunday so I went QRT.

I worked CW for about 3/4 of my Qs, which was lot of fun. Propagation was up and down (mostly down) at my QTH but I still managed about 250 Qs and 17 zones in search and pounce mode. I was able to work into western Europe a bit, South America, all over North America and no farther than Hawaii into the Pacific. I heard very few asian stations and they couldn't hear me at all.

Many thanks to everyone I worked. I enjoyed each and every contact. I am looking forward to next year and, hopefully, better conditions.
