08/08/2008 | KA3ZLS I didn't put in a serious effort for this contest. I was able to operate for a few hours on saturday night and that was it. Work and a birthday party kept me away from the radio all weekend. Overall I had a good time for the short time on the air. No real highlights to report. I worked up into the northeast more than to the south. My 1296mhz amp is in the shop right now so I was down to just 10 watts on that band. Anyway I enjoyed hearing and working everyone and catch everyone in september.
