In August, we were the SBMS "Frank-n-Zed" Group, roving the Southern California Coast and in September, we became "The Zed Group," aka "Zed Lite" since the group shrank to just KJ6HZ and KH6WZ, roving the Central California Valley.

We had strange conditions this year, many operators reported lots of fast QSB. I attribute this to the high winds rather than atmospheric conditions. The gusts were so high in some places that the dishes would move up and down and side to side. . . .

But we still had fun! -- KH6WZ
