09/16/2008 | WA1RR Operating again from FN51 on Cape Cod from our "Hideway" in Eastham, MA as Limited Multi station. No opening from the Eastern most portion of Mass. We were able to beat our 2006, our last time here, for QSO's, Grid, and Score.

137 QSO's in 36 grids for 5,904. Should be good enough for first place Limited Multi in the Eastern MA section.

We were excited to make a 200 mile contact on 70cm. Only went with one 40 foot pole this year. Added mast-mounted pre-amps for 2m and 70cm. Those were a big help.

Enjoyed hanging out on Cape Cod. Also found a new place to eat that has Cinnamon Roll French Toast. -- N1SXL
