09/17/2008 | N2YTF What a great time I had this past weekend operating portable at State Line Lookout on the Palisades in NJ. At 564 feet over the Hudson River, the view was nice but propagation was not on my side. Equipment was a park on mount with 30 ft mast and yagis for 6m-70cm including 222.

Although it was not sporadic-e I was happy with my 6m contacts that stretched from northern New Hampshire to Delaware and as far west as the western PA border.
