09/19/2008 | W1TR Got my VHF tower up finally after a year of planning and effort (HG52SS crank-up tilt-over). Activity was not that great this Sept, but about the same as last year. I did about the same but had a great time working some farther out grid squares this time. Unhappily, my 1296 antenna had a bad connection, so no contacts on that band, and a half a dozen fewer grid squares than might have been possible...
