09/21/2008 | KB8O After spending 6 months in FN30 Long Island NY for work, and only working HF for those 6 months I returned home 1 week before the VHF contest and was looking foward to it . Once I returned home I thought for sure I would have a week of fixing things that had gone bad since I had left in early April , But things were just the way I left them . This September I was joined by Ron N8MPF , Dave K8SCG , and Mike K8ROX . It was a good time , conditions were average without seeing anything out of the ordinary . My current work schedule putting me out of town a lot brought on more story telling then working stations I think . All in all it was a good time and glad to hear the locals still at it here . Thanks to Ron , Dave , and Mike , and all the stations we worked !!!See ya in January...
