11/14/2008 | N0SSC This was my first contest, cw contest, arrl contest, and sweepstakes contest all in one! (With the exception of Field Day 2008). With an IC-746, a G5RV in some trees, and this computer and me, I managed to make a modest 100 qsos over 37 sections (logging and copying 30wpm CW was a total pain) including Alaska, Hawaii and Canada. I just couldn't stay up all night. And an added bonus, during the first 20 minutes of the contest, I learned more CW than I have in 2 years! Great fun; can't wait for the SSB Sweeps.
