11/06/2008 | W3ABT Great fun to work even a few hours for the University of Pennsylvania ARC, W3ABT. The club was founded in 1909, but with earliest solid documentation of licensing by the government in 1916 (as 3ASO), we chose the check "16"... which drew "CK?" several times and "WOW" twice! We hope to have a station on-campus by this time next year.
Thanks to all who responded to my J-38 straight key-generated, 5W QRP signal from a Yaesu FT840 to a dipole.
