11/17/2008 | K6NR Great contest, lots of activity. 15 meters worked very well for me, I am glad it was open both days and I didn't have to spend more time on the crowded 20 meter band. I had decent runs on 15, 20 and 40 but never could find a good place to call on 80. I need to re-tune my vertical to work between 3600 and 3700! I also had a bad noise pop up on 40 and 80 after about 9pm, it tended to wipe things out for me.

I had a heck of a time finding my last two mults, PR, and believe it or not, Santa Barbara (about 100 miles away)! Came across W6RFU in the last hours of the contest and I could not hear him well. Managed a QSO.
