11/20/2008 | WD8BCS Used a balloon lifted half wave "vertical" for 80 meters, and a trap vertical for the other bands. Had to struggle with rain, snow and winds that pushed the antenna into more of an "L" configuration, but I believe it worked well anyway. Thanks to Bob - K8RDN for his help in building the antenna! The trap vertical is visible on the left, and the 30' mast used to moor the 80 meter halfer is just right of center. The picture was taken Sunday morning. 73! Ron. -- WD8BCS
